Community + Conduct Agreement (Kindness Policy)

At MAC Movement, we are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive + respectful environment for all dancers + families. By enrolling, you agree that:

• Dancers will treat others with kindness, respect + awareness of boundaries in + outside the studio

• Bullying, exclusion or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated

• Parents + guardians will communicate respectfully with staff + other families

• We prioritize community over competition at all times

MAC Movement reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior negatively impacts the safety or experience of others.

Media Release

By enrolling in MAC Movement, you grant permission for images + likeness of your child to be used for marketing purposes, including:

• Social media

• Website content

• Promotional materials

• Event documentation

We will always represent dancers respectfully+positively. If you prefer your dancer not be featured, please notify us in writing upon enrollment.

Intellectual Property

All choreography, class structure, curriculum + creative materials taught at MAC Movement are the intellectual property of MAC Movement + its director Chelsea McIntyre. By participating, you agree that:

• Choreography may not be recorded, taught, or reproduced outside of MAC Movement without permission

• Videos may be taken for personal use only unless approved

• Respect for creative ownership is part of our team culture

Tuition + Payment Policy

• Tuition is due monthly, on the agreed-upon date for your dancer. Changes can be made in advance of the payment date.

• Late payments may incur a $10 late fee

• If tuition is more than 2 weeks overdue, participation may be paused until payment is received

• Tuition is set at a fixed rate throughout the calendar year from January-December. Changes in tuition rate mid-season may only occur upon special circumstances + with prior notice. Tuition changes, if any, typically occur in March to account for overall economic changes.

• Scholarships, barters + other options may be available for low-income families or financial hardships.

• Dancers have the right to withdraw from MAC Movement at any time with no penalty. Prior notice for extended leave is helpful to maintain placement for the dancer on the team/in future opportunities.

We understand that life happens — communication is always encouraged as we prioritize stability for dancers' overall health (always aided by dance) over financial compensation. We are happy to work with you to make life easier!

Refund Policy

• Tuition is non-refundable once the month has begun

• Missed classes are not eligible for refunds or future credit

• Instructors may cancel class due to events but will schedule a make-up class if more than one class is cancelled in a month

• Special circumstances may apply at the discretion of MAC Movement. Communication is paramount.

Registration Fee

• The $25 registration fee is non-refundable + paid at enrollment

• This fee is applied toward your dancer’s team shirt + onboarding materials

Liability Waiver

By enrolling in MAC Movement, you acknowledge that participation in dance + physical activity includes inherent risks. You agree that:

• MAC Movement + its instructors are not liable for injuries sustained during classes, rehearsals or events

• You assume responsibility for your child’s physical readiness to participate

• You will inform us of any injuries, conditions, or limitations

Attendance Expectations

• Consistent attendance supports both individual growth + team progress + is expected of all dancers on the team

• Please notify us in advance of absences when possible

• Additional rehearsals may be scheduled before performances
